- Hi there! I'm Starfish Mama, married for 23+ years to Starfish Daddy. We built our family by birth and adoption and it's a big one. We have 24 kids (21 living, 15 at home). For the ones at home, we have the blacksmith, age 22, Ashay, age 16, Joshie, age 14, Hal, age 13, Kady, age 13, Romie, age 12, Nonee, age 12, Betty, age 12, Carrot-top, age 11, Tommy, age 9, Becca, age 9, Hammie, age 8, Luisa, age 8, Taiza, age 5 and baby Angel, 1. In addition to being a mom, I am a master food preserver, a master gardener, a midwife and political activist. I love to read, sew, garden, can and be a mom.
